The 506th has liberated a German labor camp. They dont have much work because the people they liberated do the work out of thanks. They also dont like the replacement officers that have been brought into the unit. They dont like these officers because they abuse their power on innocent people.

196-215
The 506th is in Bastogne on New Years day. They begin an attemt to undo the gain the germans gained durning the battle of the bulge. The foighting is tough but the 506th has it easy compared to the units next to them. The book is getting boring (do to me losing interest?) but i hope it will get better

176-195
The 506th is nrotated into BAstogne in support of units who have been pushed back. THey were push back by the germans in what is refered to as the battle of the bulge. The 506th is poorly equiped an has little ammo. THis could turn into a very interesting part of the book

pgs 156 -175
THE 506th is rotated from the front line back to Mourmelon. Some of the troopers get passes to go to Paris. Passes then got canceled due to fights between airbourne troops. I like the book even more now because of Ambrose's acounts from those who were actually there and it makes this book unique.

These Pages explain the failure of Market Garden and how changes would have made it suceed. Then the 506th Goes to the island in holland. the island is a narrow strip of land between the rhine and waal rivers. The 506th gets frustrated becuase life on the island in fall 1944 is like world war 1. I am still enjoying this book and am wishing i had more time to read it because it is so interesting

41-100 (56-115 in the books numbering it has an into)
The book has gotten good so im reading the book faster now. the 506 participates in the invasion of normandy france and they are around Ste. Marie-du-Mont. The first part of this section is interesting becuase it brings to light the confusion of D-Day. These 60 pages were extermly detailed in how the paratroops were confused yet still succeded on D-Day. Stephen E. Ambrose is an excellent writer when it comes to world war 2. I like this book so much I may make my next book that I read by him.

Band Of Brothers First 20 Pages.
The 506th Parachute Infantry Rigiment (PIR)of the 101st aiborne division goes through basic training and jump school. The way Stephen E Ambrose describes it they are bound to become Lengends of world war 2. the book so far is very interesting and has a lot of detail, due to the fact Ambrose uses the soilders accounts, and is one of the better books I have read. I think the farther I get into the book the more interseing it will become and the more I will Like It

answer to question
The three things that I like most about my book are the quests, the magic and the trickery of the villians. I like the quests becuase they are interesting and all are different . the magic is cool becuase it makes the book better. the trickery is well interesting and makes the book fun. that also relates to The Three Musketeers.

"Good literature substitutes for experience which we have not ourselves lived through" Alexander Solzhenitsyn
The first quote means that in literature you can experience things you have never experienced in real life. This allows you to go where you cannot travel in real life such as the 1600's. This also makes think differently because you're traveling to a place you've never been. This is what the quote means to me.
The applies to my new book (King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table) becuase i cannot experience medeival Britain or have a real sword fight. This also lets me see the way britains thought back then.

answer to question
1.You give love a bad name -Bon Jovi- this song works for the three musketeers because D'Artangnan gets betrayed my a lover named milady.
2 We are the Champions- Queen -This song is appropriate because the characters always win their fights. This song as the title suggests is about winning
3 Hound Dog- Elvis this Song represents the character Porthos becuase he is very bold and this was very bold at the time.
4 Twilight Zone - Rush - This song reminds me of the fight scenes which mostly happen around sunset or twlight.

Quote answer
"“Literature adds to reality, it does not simply describe it. It enriches the necessary competencies that daily life requires and provides; and in this respect, it irrigates the deserts that our lives have already become.” - C. S. Lewis"-From Miss K.'s blog
In that quote C.S. Lewis means that literature can make your life better. He also means that literature can enhance your perception of reality. It also provides food for thought.
The quote has helped me change my perception of the things they do in my new book The Three Musketeers. The quote relates to my book in that I feel like I'm in the book and I have absorbed knowledge from this wonderful book. I also look forward to going home and reading which i used to rarely do.
